Frank Boas has served as an attorney in the Office of the Legal Advisor
of the US Department of State in Washington, D.C. He has practiced law
in Europe, with offices in Brussels and London, and was Of Counsel to
the law firm Patton, Boggs & Blow in Washington D.C. He is a member
of the Bar of the U.S. District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the D.C. Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received Bachelor
of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from Harvard University. He is former
President of the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council, the Honolulu Academy
of Arts, and the Pacific Forum CSIS and a former Board Member of the University of Hawaii and the East-West Center Foundations..
